“Freedom”, based on the life of John Newton, writer of ‘Amazing Grace’ was Showtime’s first faith-based movie and reached over 50 million households. “Slamma Jamma” was released by Sony Pictures nationwide on March 24, 2017 on over 502 theaters. The opened at #11 at the box office opening weekend nationwide.
